A 1984 graduate of Insurance, University of Lagos, Mr. Otegbeye obtained his basic training from the United Nigeria Insurance Company Limited (UNIC) where he worked extensively in Risk Management, General Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Marine and Aviation Divisions.

An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, a holder of MBA (Financial Management and Accounting) and a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Mr. Otegbeye joined Regency Insurance Plc from inception as

A 1984 graduate of University of Ibadan, Mr. Adelakun started his Insurance career with Glanvill Enthoven & Company (Nigeria) where he worked extensively in Reinsurance Division.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and Nigeria with wide experience in General Underwriting and Claims.  Mr. Adelakun is a specialist in Reinsurance.

He was formerly an Executive Director in Regency Insurance Plc and retains his position in the post merger Regency Alliance Insurance

Plc as the Executive Director (Operations).

Mr. Sammy Olaniyi was appointed as an Executive Director, Business Development.  A member of the Institute of Directors, Olaniyi obtained B.Sc Accounting and M.Sc, Organizational Behaviour from University of Lagos. 

A business Strategist, he had his Insurance training at the United Kingdom including the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Llod’s Training Centre.

SUNMBO ADELEKE (B.SC, ACII, MBA) -  (Group Head, Technical)

Mrs. Adeleke started her Insurance career in 1975 with Great Nigeria Insurance Company Limited. She later worked with African Alliance Insurance Company, a Life Specialist Company within the period 1984-1994 and from there, she moved to Femi Johnson & Company Limited where she rose to the post of an Assistant General Manager. Mrs. Adeleke became General Manager/CEO of Regency Life Assurance and Pensions Limited in 2004.

She holds a B.Sc Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

She is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute London and Nigeria.

KEHINDE OYADIRAN (MBA, FCA, ACTI) - Group Head, Corporate Finance

Mr. Oyadiran is a graduate of Accountancy from federal Polytechnic (Ilaro) and also an Associate Member of both Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Management.

ANU SHOBO (LLB, BL, LLM)          -               Company Secretary

Mrs. Anu Shobo joined Regency as the Company Secretary/Administration Manager.  Until her appointment, she was an Assistant Manager (Legal) in Wema Bank Plc.

Mrs. Anu Shobo obtained her LLB and LLM Degrees from the University of Lagos.  She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.  she has a reputation in the legal circle for her hardwork  and exceptional brilliance.

NIYI OJEBISI (B.SC, MA, MBA, ANIPR) - Group Head, Corporate Planning

A seasoned market Communicator and Corporate Planner, Ojebisi attended three leading Nigerian Universities: Lagos, Ibadan and Ife.  He was former Editor of Sunday times and had traversed the Nigerian Media Industry before his appointment as Head, Corporate Affairs of Regency Insurance Plc.  Ojebisi was also the Head, Recapitalisation and Consolidation, Regency Alliance Insurance Group between 2006 and 2007.

He holds a Bachelor of Science, Political Science from University of Lagos, Masters of Arts, Communication and Language Arts from University of Ibadan and Masters of Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

He is an Associate, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (ANIPR).

DAYO AYENI (B.SC, M.SC, ACIIN)         -        Assistant Director, Southern Operations

A Chartered Insurer and seasoned Marketer, Dayo Ayeni began his career at NICON Insurance Plc in 1985.  He was Manager, Technical Shepherds Insurance Brokers between 1986 and 1992.  Dayo later became Assistant General Manager, Marketing, Atlantic Insurance Company Limited. 

He is a 1985 graduate of Insurance, University of Lagos and also holds M.Sc Business Administration from the same University.  He is

an Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).

JOHN CHUIWURAH ANIEROBI (B.SC, MBA, ACII) - Head, Lagos Central Operations

Mr. John Anierobi holds a B.Sc in Business Administration from the Anambra State University of Technology, Enugu; MBA from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

His working career took him to Valid Assurance Company Limited where he was Assistant Superintendent Marketing and later Senior Superintendent Claims.  He later moved to

A former Managing Director/CEO of Refuge Insurance Co.Ltd., Mr.Ogunlana began his career at LASACO Assurance Plc in 1987. He also worked as Manager, Underwriting at Amicable Assurance Plc between 1992 and 1994.

Ogunlana joined Regency Insurance Plc in 1994 and rose to the position of Assistant General Manager in 2005. He is an Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of London and Nigeria. He also holds an MBA from University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.

TUNDE BALOGUN (ACII) - Assistant Director, Northern Operations

A distinguished chartered insurer, Balogun is skillful in both life and non-life insurance operations. He began his career at Great Nigeria Insurance Plc in 1982.  He also worked in Guinea Insurance Plc as well as Sun Insurance Plc between 1985 and 1997. Balogun traversed the Nigerian Insurance industry rising to the position of Deputy General Manager at Acen Insurance Plc.  He was also Deputy General Manager (Life Operations) at UNIC Insurance Plc.

He is an Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute, London and a Graduate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
